Big Brother has arranged for Rodrigo to go to tea with the Queen later today — or at least that’s what he’ll think…
For his part in this week’s task, Rodrigo must learn all the necessary etiquette for a meeting with the Queen, with help from Charlie and Dogface. He will then greet Her Royal Highness in the task room.
However, what he doesn’t know is that he will actually be visited by a Queen impersonator, and it’s up to the other housemates to convince him that she is the real monarch.
Earlier today, Big Brother informed Rodrigo of the news in the Diary Room, while everyone else watched on the plasma screen in the lounge.
“Oh my god! You’re joking, Big Brother!” he replied in disbelief.
“Are you happy to have tea with the Queen?” asked Big Brother.
“I don’t know how to say. I’m more than happy. Are you being serious? Don’t joke with me. It’s very serious!” he squealed.
Big Brother then gave Rodrigo a handbook containing instructions and told him that he would have to sing the national anthem as it is ‘the Queen’s favourite song’.
As he began reading the guidelines the plasma screen was turned off, and the other housemates began speculating about what was going on.
“If that actually happened it would be the biggest thing ever,” said Siavash.
“It so won’t happen,” replied Bea.
“It’s good PR,” noted Halfwit.
However, Big Brother soon put them out of their misery, and told them that he had hired a lookalike for the challenge.
“If all housemates convince Rodrigo that he is meeting the Queen, they will win five tokens and all will win a brilliant individual prize,” Big Brother said.
“We have to do this!” exclaimed Siavash.
If Charlie, Dogface and Rodrigo pass this part of the task, they will earn £80 for the shopping budget next week.
