Big Brother has set the housemates their latest shopping task, for which they have become characters from Alice in Wonderland.
As always, housemates have allocated roles among themselves for a number of sub-challenges. They must successfully complete a certain number of these challenges in order to pass the overall task.
The roles, who they were assigned to, and the challenges are as follows:
- Alice: Hira
- Queen of Hearts: Charlie
- Knave of Hearts: Marcus
- 4x Playing Cards: Bea, David, Halfwit and Lisa
- Cheshire Cat: Rodrigo
- The White Rabbit: Siavash
- The Mad Hatter: Dogface
Alice
Alice will be called to the Diary Room where she must drink the contents of a bottle labelled ‘DRINK ME’. She will then go to the small task room, which will contain disproportionately large objects, including a cup cake labelled ‘EAT ME’. She must eat it using only her mouth until she finds a key which will get her back in to the Diary Room, where everything will have “shrunk”, including the Diary Room chair. To leave the Diary Room, she must produce real tears, and to aid this, Big Brother will recite sad stories, such as ‘Bambi’, to sad music, such as ‘Adagio for Strings’.
Queen of Hearts, Knave of Hearts and 4x Playing Cards
On Day Two of the task, the Queen of Hearts and Knave of Hearts must bake a selection of tarts containing ‘unusual and disgusting’ fillings before presenting them to Big Brother. The Playing Cards must then eat the tarts.
Cheshire Cat
The Cheshire Cat is famed for his very broad grin. Throughout the task, each time Big Brother plays a song with the word ’smile’ in the title, he must sit on his tree behind a magnifying glass and grin for the duration of the song. If the Cheshire Cat does not ’smile like he means it’, or smiles when a song not related to smiling is played, he will incur a fail.
White Rabbit
The White Rabbit, who is obsessed with being on time, must go to the rabbit hutch in the garden at the times of his appointments, which Big Brother will announce beforehand. He may be up to five minutes early, but never late. He will have a pocket watch to use to meet his appointments, which he must keep consistently wound up so it displays the correct time.
The Mad Hatter
The Mad Hatter enjoys tea, so she must become a tea tasting expert and learn to identify 25 different teas. She will be tested on her knowledge on the second day of the task.
The task will culminate with a tea party in the Task Room, including teapots filled with booze, finger sandwiches and a selection of cakes.
