Charlie will face this week’s eviction on Friday after failing a challenge he was set as a punishment for discussing nominations.
Earlier today, he was the first person to be called to the Diary Room by Big Brother to give his nominations. However, after he had voted, Big Brother had another issue to raise with him.
“Just one more thing, Charlie,” Big Brother said, before reminding him of a discussion he had yesterday.
“Yesterday, at 1.06am in a conversation with Lisa and Karly, you said: ‘I normally struggle [to nominate], but now people have done things. I didn’t [have anyone to nominate], but now I’ve got one definite, haven’t I?’
“It is strictly against the rules for housemates to discuss their nominations with each other. Therefore you must be punished.”
Charlie remained silent as Big Brother told him what his punishment was.
“You must remain silent until midnight tonight. If Big Brother hears one peep out of you before the stroke of midnight, you will face eviction on Friday.
“If you communicate anything about this punishment to your fellow housemates, you will also face eviction.”
Once he left the Diary Room, he managed to remain silent despite facing questions from his fellow housemates.
However, moments later, while he and Siavash were napping in the bedroom, Big Brother began to ring the alarm, to which he reacted by saying “I’m up!”.
He then realised the error he just made, covering his hand with his mouth.
As he broke the terms of Big Brother’s punishement he will face this week’s public vote for eviction alongside whoever the housemates have nominated.
