A couple that were set to become Big Brother 10 housemates have reportedly been dropped from the shortlist after they split.
According to the Daily Star, 18-year-olds Melisa Nayah Minton and Daniel Lewis were picked to ’spice up’ the show, but were axed from the line-up after informing producers of their decision to split.
The pair had thought that they would still have been able to take part if they were honest and upfront with bosses.
Melisa said: “We’re gutt-ed. We thought we’d be up front with them and tell the truth.
“But all they’ve done is dropped us.
“I still think it would have been great TV to put us in the house even though we’ve broken up.”
A show spokeswoman told the paper: “We never confirm or deny who’s going in the house until launch night.”
