The housemates were put through their paces this afternoon as they competed in Big Brother’s extreme school sports day.
By going to the Diary Room to collect the laminate to read to the group, Marcus elected himself as referee for the task. The rest of the housemates were split in to two five-strong teams.
Marcus chose Siavash and Noirin to be the team leaders, before they picked housemates to be in their teams. Noirin went for Charlie, Dogface, Lisa and Rodrigo, while Siavash ended up with Halfwit, Karly, Kris and Sree.
The two teams competed against each other in five different events - but as it was an extreme sports day, there was a nasty surprise in each. The events were as follows:
- The egg and spoon race, for which they used 1,000-year-old eggs that are considered a delicacy in China that the competitors had to eat once they completed it.
- The relay race, for which a cactus baton was provided for the housemates to pass to each other.
- The rolling race, which took place over upturned plugs.
- The sack race, with its contestants forced to do it in sacks filled with nettles.
- The skipping race, which was done on plastic building bricks.
Kris and Rodrigo took part in the egg and spoon race, after which Rodrigo spat out the egg.
Noirin’s team won the task, and they will be rewarded with a school disco in the lounge, complete with takeaway food, music and booze.
