In an interview with Heat magazine, she said: “BB went back to basics this year and I’ve really enjoyed it. There were no secret rooms or complications. It was Big Brother at its best.

“I loved it when the old Big Brother housemates went into the house, particularly when Rex, in an alpha male way, gave Marcus a pat on the head as if he were a small boy.

“Even though the rule-breaking meant the housemates lost the prize fund, I have to say I’ve enjoyed their slightly rebellious streak this year.

“The new housemates going in was a real highlight. I think the five we had going in were the best ‘new’ housemates we’ve ever had. Never before have new housemates caused such a stir in the house.”

She added that she is “feeling very nostalgic” about the show, which will end on Channel 4 next year after its eleventh series.

Sophie won Big Brother 10 on Friday with a record 74.4% of the vote.

The second show, which aired between 10.00pm and 11.15pm on Channel 4, was watched by 2.7million (16% of the audience). It peaked with 3.3million (17.6%) at 10.30pm when the winner announcement was made.

A further 150,000 saw it on timeshift service Channel 4+1.

Earlier, the first show drew an average total of 2.8million. On Channel 4, 2.6million (12%) watched between 8.30pm and 9.30pm, while another 170,000 tuned in on Channel 4+1.

On E4, 504,000 (4.8%) watched the penultimate episode of Big Brother’s Big Mouth. A reunion show will be broadcast next Friday.

Although low ratings were expected, the lack of media interest in BB10 meant that ratings were only marginally above those seen for this year’s evictions.

The viewing figures are down around 40% on last year’s Big Brother 9 final shows, which picked up 4.2million and 4.9million in overnights, while January’s Celebrity Big Brother final drew 3.2m and 3.5m.

Meanwhile, the series average is 2.2million, a third down on BB9. This is the biggest year-on-year drop of any series.

Overnight ratings are unofficial, and therefore do not take certain factors in to account, such as those who recorded the show to watch later. Official figures will be released at a later date.

She recieved 74.4% of the public vote to win, the highest ever in a summer series, and walked out of the house to a chorus of cheers and chants as fireworks and sparks lit the sky around the compound.

Speaking in her interview with Davina, she said: “I never thought I’d win! I didn’t think I’d get on the show, never mind win… I thought it’d be Rodrigo or Charlie.

Talk turned to her relationship with Kris. “I’ve read some stuff. Obviously I need to speak to him and stuff,” she said. Asked if she’d had sex with him, she replied: “I can swear on my chihuahua’s life I never had sex with Kris!”

She then revealed what winning meant to her: “I’ve never won anything in my life. I never thought I’d actually win this.

“I just feel really accepted by people. I get my boobs out for a living, and people think it’s tacky and I’m an airhead. I just feel accepted, like people can see past that.”

After the interview, Davina took Sophie down the walkway to give her the prize money. She said she’d spend it on “charity and clothes for chihuahuas”.

She then enjoyed another display of fireworks as the press took photos.

He left a dumbfounded Sophie alone in the lounge before heading out of the house. He was met by the cheering crowd and Davina, who led him down the stairs and along the stage for his photos.

He wore the outfit provided for his prize task. Therefore, he has passed, making the winner’s prize £71,320.

Speaking to Davina in his interview, he said “Oh my god, this is ridiculous,” before apologising for losing his voice.

He chatted about his plan to walk yesterday, saying: “It’s just something that I really needed to do. I felt that I didn’t deserve to be in the final. I’m really glad I stayed.

After being shown a VT about his close bond with Noirin, he was asked what he’d say to his ex-girlfriend, replying: “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. If you’re watching, I’m so so sorry.

“Things are really weird inside the house, things happen. I’m so sorry.”

“There is no hard feelings towards Noirin. She did nothing wrong,” he added as the crowd booed her.

He then talked about his refusal to nominate. “I wanted to go up for eviction so people could take me out.”

However, when Davina pointed out that he could have asked people to nominate him after the rules were removed, he said: “I was really proud of people not putting me up for eviction.

After wishing luck to the duo he left the house to another positive reception. After meeting Davina, he shook hands with some crowd members before heading along the catwalk as the cameras flashed.

He had 19% of the public vote at the time of the reading for third place.

Talking to Davina in front of the crowd, he said: “I am surprised that I came third because I came in halfway, so I didn’t think I had a chance. When I found out that I was gonna be in the final, it hit me hard. I’m so happy.”

Asked if any housemates were different from how he percieved them before entering, he said: “I did watch people, I did have my favourites, but I went in with an open book.

“You can’t have favourites and go in and stick with them because you’re not necessarily gonna get on with them.”

His friend Lisa and her eviction then came up. “Lisa’s a very strong woman. She’s the strongest woman I’ve ever met.

“When I had my birthday party and she wasn’t there, I was devastated. Lisa has been my rock in the house and she’s gonna be my rock all the way through my life. If somebody’s my friend it’s either all or nothing.”

He also discussed an invitation from his idol Vivienne Westwood to get in touch. “I just can’t believe it. She’s the queen of fashion, she makes me feel brilliant, and I’m just gonna give her the biggest kiss.”

During the chat, he heard a clip of Robbie Williams saying he voted for him to win on BBC Radio 1.

After saying his goodbyes to the remaining trio, who were left confused by the news, he left the house to a warm reception from the crowd. He had 13.2% of the vote when the fourth and fifth place reading was taken.

In his exit interview, he said: “I thought I was gonna go in week five when Kris went, I thought, ‘that’s it, I’m gone’.

When asked about his relationship with Rodrigo, he responded: “We’re just friends. He’s just a friend.”

He was then quizzed about throwing a ‘hissy fit’ about being the stylist in this weeks’s Beyoncé task. He said: “I was gonna walk. That’s how upset I was. I just said, ‘I do not wanna be the stylist’.

“I wasn’t bothered about being Beyoncé or being a dancer, I just did not wanna be the stylist. I would have been the cleaner on the stage.”

Talk then turned to his mum, who has had an aneurysm, and if he wanted to do the show for her. “My mum knew I wanted to do this. I didn’t think I would get on.

“Since I’ve been in they’ve seen changes in her. She’s getting stronger. She’ll be so proud of us.”

Davina then informed him that she has made progress before wishing her well.

The announcement of his exit left the housemates were in shock. “Roddy, oh Roddy. I’m coming out after you,” said his close friend Sophie, before he said his final goodbyes and headed for the door.

He left the house to unanimous cheers from the crowd, and he shook some fans’ hands once on the stage.

In his interview with host Davina McCall, he said: “I enjoyed so much [of] my time in the house. I’m so glad to leave on the last day, to enjoy every single day in the house.

“I was not expecting to be on the show. I just realised everyone in the country accepted me, and I’m really, really happy just to leave on the last day. For me, it means so much.

“I don’t need to say how much I love this country!”

Discussing his relationship with Charlie, he said: “We are just friends. We love each other and we hate each other. I like him very much, we are very good friends. We have similar personalities.”

Asked what he thought his family in Brazil would think of him being on Big Brother, he replied: “I’m sure my family in Brazil are really glad of me being on the show. They know how glad and how happy this country makes me.

“This country is the reason of my happiness. Being on this show is the chance I have to say to everyone, that I love this country so much I feel that I am British.”

He was then shown a video of his family cheering him on and wishing him well, to which he responded: “They are so proud. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

He had recieved 11% of the vote to win when the reading for fourth and fifth places was taken.

Over the course of the series, 21 housemates - and 1 non-housemate - have entered the house. 13 were evicted, 4 left through the back door and now only five remain. Tonight, one will be crowned winner, netting a prize of £61,320 (at least)!
