Gang to fix Big Brother 10?

A Middle Eastern gambling syndicate is set to fix Big Brother 10 in order to gain £2million… according to the Daily Star.

The red-top today claimed that members of the syndicate managed to gain access to voting data from last year’s ninth series and will use it to their advantage this summer, having already ‘fixed’ the outcome of Big Brother 9.

The gang supposedly gained £1million by influencing the result with a surge of last minute phone calls for outsider - and eventual winner - Rachel Rice, after a ’source’ from outside of Channel 4 and Endemol leaked voting patterns to them on the night.

The tabloid added that Mikey Hughes, who was favourite to win BB9, was apparently doing so up until the last five minutes of voting when Rachel overtook him.

A ’source’ said: “It was a done deal and then in the space of five minutes it all changed.

“We think that some how these people discovered how many votes would be needed to see Rachel win.

“Mikey was favourite – anyone who bet on her would have got great odds.

“In the last few minutes there was a large move to back Rachel which led to people winning a lot of money.”

A spokeswoman said: “We are satisfied the programme and voting were conducted with appropriate care. This was also the finding of an Ofcom investigation.”

This is not the first time that the Daily Star has claimed that syndicates have tried to fix Big Brother, having done so in advance of Big Brother 8.

Haha. I dont know what they put in the water cooler down at Daily Star HQ but it seems to fuel all their deadend stories.

Whenever I read “according to the Daily Star”, I stop reading. It’s my new rule.

The Daily Star is a real life match to the story of the boy who cried wolf. One day they will report that the moon will drop from space and hit the earth, non of us will believe them due to all their crack-pot stories and then bomb. end of humanity.

Remember when they claimed ALIENS were going into the house last year? How absurd…
