One viewer will enter the house as part of this week’s shopping task, for which housemates will embrace all things Greek.
As is often the case, the task is divided into various sub-challenges, with housemates having to pass a number of these challenges to complete the overall task and win a luxury shopping budget for next week.
However, in a first for Big Brother, a viewer will play a crucial role in Bea’s part of the task (more information on this below).
This week’s give Greek-themed challenges are as follows:
- Hira, Siavash and Noirin will become Greek Presidential Guards and perform a traditional fifteen-minute “changing of the guard” ceremony later today. They will be provided with costumes and instructional DVDs, and the outcome will be decided by an independent judge.
- Charlie and Rodrigo will become Britain’s Got Talent finalists Stavros Flatley and use instructional DVDs to learn a comedy dance routine to ‘Cry of the Celts’ from Riverdance. They will perform in costume later today.
- David, Dogface and Lisa will become Kebab Chefs for the duration of the task, having to prepare orders from Big Brother in a kebab van in the garden and deliver them to the diary room within four minutes. Two chefs must be in the van at all times.
- Bea has become Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of Love, and has made a plea for a date. One viewer, selected from applications sent in via the official website, will enter the house to go on a date with her and judge her seduction techniques. As the Goddess of Love, Bea must be charming and entertaining company throughout the date
- The remaining four housemates have become Greek Gods. Halfwit is Zeus, King of the Gods, while Tom is Atlas, the God of ‘Weightlifting and Heavy Burdens’. Marcus is Kratos, the God of Strength, and Kenneth is Hades, the God of Wealth. Their task will take place tomorrow.
