The housemates have failed this week’s Greece-themed shopping task and will therefore remain on a basic food budget.
On Tuesday housemates were told that they had to complete three out of five sub-challenges to pass the task. However, these were fake challenges, and it was Halfwit who undertook the real task.
Yesterday, Big Brother called Halfwit to the Diary Room and explained that he, and he alone was responsible for passing this week’s shopping task.
He had to choose three opponents who he believed could beat Gods Kenneth (Hades, God of Wealth), Marcus (Kratos, God of Strength) and Tom (Atlas, God of Weightlifting and Heavy Burdens) in their respective challenges.
At least two of the opponents Halfwit selected had to win their challenge in order for housemates to pass this week’s shopping task. He was also informed that they’d fail if he informed any of the others about the real shopping task.
However, none of his chosen opponents won their challenges. He was also spotted attempting to influence the results by hinting at the desired outcomes.
As a result, the group has failed the task and are stuck on a £1 per head per day budget for the next week.
