It has been confirmed that the housemates will make their nominations for this week during tonight’s live specials.

During the second show at 10.55pm on Channel 4 with Davina McCall, Big Brother will call them to the Diary Room one-by-one to name the two people they would like to nominate for eviction on Friday.

As usual, full and frank reasons must be given for each nomination, and they will have a strict time frame in which to nominate. Only nominations given within these time limits will count.

Charlie is not eligible to take part, after Siavash removed his right to nominate earlier.

The group will be gathered in the lounge for the results later on, before the public vote opens at 10.00am tomorrow.

Highlights from yesterday’s action in the house will air from 9.00pm, while the first episode of the new series of Ugly Betty will seperate the two shows.

It doesn’t even say of they are going to let the housemates watch each other nominate. That would have been SOMETHING.

No wonder Davina didn’t mention this on Friday, because I’m sure she knew it was utterly crap, and an embarrassment of a twist.

But we need a replacement housemate anyway for Saffia so why the hell aren’t they putting 1 or 2 new housemates in AT LEAST?! They could have a nice little task for them to do over the next few days or something. Guh.

This ‘Twist’ seems to be a copy of What BB AU has done before. In that they had the presenter plus the latest person evicted and after every few nominations a discussion in the studio about choices HMs made. They also had a crowd present for it. So I doubt there is anyone new going into house at this point .

It’s not even a twist - it’s just the usual process condensed into a live special for no reason at all.

And it’s going to go seriously wrong IMO considering usually the producers take about 5 hours to do the nominations.

How was my post above negative ? I just pointed out this ‘twist’ seems to be a copy of that done on BB Australia so a crowd been there doesnt mean a HM is going in or out necessarly thus I said I doubt anyone new will be going in.

Stupid as well not opening the lines until tomorrow - removes any point at all in it being live.

If they need time to get the lines open, record the second show straight after the first so by the time it’s broadcast, they’ve had an hour or so to open the correct lines.

Channel 4 have not said that the housemates will see the nominations so I think it’s safe to assume they’ll be kept secret.

They almost always have an audience present at live specials no matter what their content. They don’t sell tickets, they give them out for free, so it’s not that people are paying only to see a nominations twist.

The show just doesn’t deserve to do well tonight.

Zero promotion, nothing on the website (they’ve finally added a news story, but fail to mention it), and even the official website’s TV guide only mentions tonights 9pm show, forgetting completely about the 11pm one.

We don’t even know if the Tudor Task is still on going. Would be odd for them to link the nominations to aspects of it, and then to end the task the day before they happen.

They annonced it after the highlights so they might of thought that they’ve promoted it. But they could off at least updated the website telling us about tonight, there was nothing about marcus being immune i had to find out what was going on by asking people because its being seprated into 2 shows so i thought they where both live.
