The housemates have turned down a chance to add £1,500 to the prize fund - by swimming 1,500 lengths of the pool.
Big Brother offered the task to the group last night, but they decided not to give it a shot, reasoning that they’re not interested in the money and that they would have done it for a party or a takeaway.
However, just moments later, Rodrigo and Charlie unsuccessfully attempted to persuade Lisa and David to do it.
Earlier in the afternoon, Big Brother added £20 to the pot as a mystery prize in this week’s shopping.
As the group went to collect their supplies, David immediately spotted a large cheque, and held it up for all to see.
“Twenty grand?” mouthed Sophie as she approached the store room.
“They’ve given the mystery prize as £20,000, as well as Siavash’s, innit,” Lisa said.
“It’s a good idea,” said David.
“It’s ******* ****!” replied Marcus, who soon spotted that they had made a crucial mistake when reading the cheque. “It’s £20, not £20,000!” he grinned.
“It’s what?” asked David. “I thought it was £20,000.”
The prize money was reduced to zero on Tuesday as a punishment after housemates broke into the camera runs.
