E4 is to air a one-off documentary about former Big Brother 3 housemate Jade Goody, who died in March after her battle with cervical cancer.
Entitled Jade: As Seen On TV, the special is said to be a ‘celebration of her life’ which documents her rise to fame and questions her public perception. It will also feature interviews from friends and family.
It has been scheduled to air on the channel on Tuesday 26th May at 9.00pm.
It is not clear whether this is part of the ’string’ of shows Channel 4 will air in the run up to this summer’s Big Brother to celebrate it entering its tenth series. A gameshow, entitled Big Brother’s Big Quiz, has already been confirmed.
Channel 4’s head of programming Julian Bellamy had previously said that the broadcaster had ‘no specific’ tributes to Jade planned.
