Big Brother sets fifth shopping task
just-like-a-circus

The housemates have become performers in the greatest show on earth - Big Brother’s Circus - for this week’s shopping task.

As usual, there will be five different acts, and the housemates must decide who performs in which act. The acts will then practise and perform their routines over the course of today and tomorrow.

The acts are as follows:

  • The fan dance — one male and one female housemate must form a dance troupe, then perform a demure yet seductive fan dance.
  • Performance thrower and assistant — one housemate must become a circus performance thrower, while another will become their glamorous assistant.
  • Tightrope walkers — two skilled housemates will be required to cross a wire situated in the garden.
  • Unicycle of jeapordy — one of the bravest and most fearless housemates will volunteer for the unicycle of jeapordy act.
  • Strongest man and woman — three fit, athletic and mentally and physically strong housemates will become the strong men and women.

Housemates will be judged on their final performances as well as their effort throughout the task.

They are allowed to fail no more than two acts, otherwise they will be stuck on a basic shopping budget next week.

This sounds completely stupid. They could have done so much more with this, but again they ruined it.

It’s obvious that they’re fast running out of ideas.

I remembered something from BB UK season 1 - and thus it was confirmed :
In Week 8 the housemates had two tasks. The first was the Big Brother Circus. Housemates had to learn and perform various circus skills including juggling, tightrope walking and unicycling. All housemates had to perform the three activities. Housemates failed this week’s task on Day 55.

They should have made it more like a ‘Freakshow’, where they had to do much more testing things that would undoubtedly embarass them LOL… it seems BB didn’t put any imagination into this like the tasks in previous years - but surely it will be funny to watch (:
