Over the course of the series, 21 housemates - and 1 non-housemate - have entered the house. 13 were evicted, 4 left through the back door and now only five remain. Tonight, one will be crowned winner, netting a prize of £61,320 (at least)!
As usual, the lovely Davina will oversee tonight’s shows at 8.30pm and 10.00pm on Channel 4. We’ll have minute-by-minute updates here, so keep refreshing - the more recent ones are at the bottom.

First show updates [Show]
- 9.47pm “Rodrigo, Charlie and David are out of the game leaving Siavash and Sophie battling for your votes. Who will emerge as your winner?” asks Davina as she promotes the final during The Kevin Bishop Show.
- 10.02pm “It’s down to two and it’s down to you!” says Davina. The titles roll and the second show begins!
- 10.02pm To vote for Siavash to win call 09016 16 16 13. To vote for Sophie to win call 09016 16 16 15. Calls cost 35p with BT, other networks and mobiles may vary, lines close shortly.
- 10.03pm Davina introduces a VT of Judi James analysing the behaviour of the final two, Siavash and Sophie.
- 10.06pm Davina is now talking to the house. She reminds David he’s third and tells him to say his goodbyes.
- 10.06pm After wishing Sophie and Siavash luck, he leaves the lounge and heads to the front door.
- 10.07pm David recieves a largely warm reception as he leaves the house. Davina greets him and takes him to be photographed.

- 10.12pm Part two begins. Davina welcomes David before adjusting his chair.
- 10.12pm Voting lines have now CLOSED. Do not call now as your votes will not count and you may be charged.
- 10.13pm David says he’s watched every series of BB since Day 1. “He’ll be sad to hear the news,” says Davina.
- 10.14pm More analysis from Judi James now, who looks at David’s behaviour.
- 10.16pm Davina brings up Vivenne Westwood before asking David who he thinks Robbie Williams pledged his support to. He guessed Lisa, before he hears a clip of the popstar on Radio 1 saying he’s voted for David to win.
- 10.17pm David’s best bits are now airing.
- 10.19pm Davina sends David up to the stand.
- 10.20pm Davina is talking to the house.
- 10.20pm The winner of Big Brother 2009 is Sophie. Siavash has come second.
- 10.21pm The news sinks in as Siavash is given 30 seconds to say his goodbyes. Siavash says “I’ll see you in half an hour!” before he heads for the exit.
- 10.22pm Siavash finally leaves the house to rapturous applause. Davina leads him down the stairs and shows Siavash some of the banners.
- 10.23pm Davina will speak to Siavash after the break.

- 10.27pm Davina welcomes us back and reminds us Sophie is the winner. She introduces Siavash.
- 10.28pm Siavash says that he wanted to leave because he didn’t deserve to be there. He’s beginning to lose his voice.
- 10.29pm A VT documenting his relationship with Noirin is on. He’s got his fingers in his ears as he tries not to watch.
- 10.31pm Siavash is making a message to his ex-girlfriend. He says Noirin did nothing wrong.
- 10.33pm Siavash says he refused to nominate because he wanted to be voted out. Davina asks why he didn’t ask for nominations after the rules were relaxed, and he says he didn’t want to.
- 10.34pm Davina is showing Siavash his best bits.
- 10.35pm Davina congratulates Siavash and sends him up to join the other ex-housemates.
- 10.36pm Davina pauses to watch Sophie for a bit before talking to the house for the final time. She tells Sophie that she’s coming to get her.
- 10.36pm Sophie pauses a bit and collects her make-up before she walks towards the front of the house.
- 10.38pm Davina introduces Sophie and she leaves the house to a unanimously cheering crowd. Fireworks are let off and sparks go flying as she’s let along the catwalk for her press photos.
- 10.39pm Sophie will be interviewed after the break.

- 10.43pm The crowd are chanting Sophie’s name as Davina welcomes us back.
- 10.43pm “I never thought I’d get on the show, never mind win,” says Sophie.
- 10.44pm Her relationship with Kris comes up. She said she’ll talk to him, despite previously claiming she’ll leave single. Kris then congratulated her on winning, before he’s booed.
- 10.46pm A VT about her relationship with Rodrigo is being shown.
- 10.47pm She says winning makes her feel ‘accepted’ because she thought she’d be percieved as an airhead.
- 10.49pm Sophie watches her best bits.
- 10.51pm Davina congratulates Sophie again as the crowd chant her name.
- 10.52pm “It has been a vintage year and if you’re a Big Brother fan you’ll have loved it,” says Davina. The series highlights package begins. The song featured is “Sweet Disposition” by The Tempter Trap.
- 10.58pm The ex-housemates are gathered on stage. Davina says that Sophie will recieve her prize money after the break.

- 11.04pm Davina welcomes us back. She reminds us next year’s Big Brother will be the last on Channel 4 before an an auditions VT wins.
- 11.06pm The camera pans accross the ex housemates.
- 11.06pm Davina leads Sophie along the catwalk to a man holding a briefcase containing her prize - £71,320. She says she’ll spend it on ‘charity and clothes’. Davina informs us the remainder of the original prize will be donated to charity.
- 11.07pm Davina says she’ll see us for Celebrity Big Brother in January before she closes the show. Sophie starts heading up and down the catwalk as more fireworks and sparks are let off.
- 11.08pm Well, that’s it for our live updates. There’s more Big Brother action on E4 now as Davina presents Big Mouth. Goodnight!
