Confirmed schedules for the third full week of Big Brother reveal an extra episode has been scheduled on Wednesday 24th June.

The first hour-long episode of the night will air at the earlier time of 9.00pm, with a second 35-minute edition beginning at 10.55pm.

Although the information about the episode only informs us it’ll feature “The latest events in the Big Brother house”, it is highly likely Davina will be putting in some overtime to oversee the nights events, whatever those events may be.

The Big Brother specials accompany the launch of the third series of Ugly Betty, which will premiere at 10pm, in it’s new Wednesday night slot, meaning it will no longer disrupt the scheduling of Big Brother on eviction night.

Also confirmed are the live streaming slots on E4 for the week beginning Saturday 20th June, with double bills of Rude Tube pushing back streaming for an hour on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Sun: 12.00am
Mon: 12.05am
Tue: 11.55pm
Wed: 12.20am
Thu: 12.00am
Fri: 12.10am

It will be some Pathetic twist without an ounce of originality. My guess will be some desparate ex HMs will visit the house for a day or two. Some Nonsense like that.

If Ugly Betty is taking the 10pm slot does that mean BB in the 9pm slot on Wednesdays from then on… i’m starting to think a consistent slot is helping as the ratings are beginning to climb, if they start having 9pm one day, 10pm the next it could lose momentum.

it will be too early for a mid week eviction, i think it will be either a live task or a new batch of housemates, but who knows big brother can do any thing he likes!!!!!!!

Jonny - does look likely Ugly Betty will keep the 10pm slot. You’re spot on though - consistent slots are key, whether at 9pm or 10pm.

i think new housemates, i’ve heard rumours on twitter that a newspaper has found the identity of the new housemates so maybe its then that they come in!

Sure Im a Big BB Fan thats why I dont like this appalling traversty we have for series 10.

I also wouldnt take much notice of these supposed rumours . Its sanctioned leaks by PR departments of CH4/Endemol to try and create some interest and prop up the pathetic ratings its getting and rightly so IMHO

I know it would be boring, but actually a bog standard eviction could work well.

With nominations as usual done on Monday, announced on Tuesday, it would be completely unexpected for that eviction to then happen on Wednesday - and then the HMs would be clueless as to what would happen on Friday.

That would then be key though - something MASSIVE happening on the Friday, which didn’t involve new HMs or more evictions.

I reckon its a midweek eviction, and then some new housemates are going in on Friday..maybe could work? Or maybe there was just too many hightlights so extra time is needed to show it all LOL :D
