Confirmed schedules published today by C4 show more changes to the Big Brother schedule from July.
From the 7th July, the Tuesday edition of Big Brother moves to the earlier time of 9pm, with Charlie Brooker’s new television based panel show You Have Been Watching replacing Big Brother at 10pm.
This follows the Wednesday show also being moved to 9pm to make way for the new series of Ugly Betty, which begins tonight.
However, both shows, along with Friday nights first eviction episode, will face competition from the long awaited new series of Torchwood, which airs every night at 9pm for the week.
In addition, the Saturday edition on July 4th will air half-an-hour later than usual at 9.30pm, due to the entire evening schedule being pushed back by 30-minutes by the July edition of The TV Show, which airs at 4pm. With the live feed the most complained about subject at C4 in recent months,, it is possible it may be one of the topics discussed on the show.
Sundays edition remains at 9pm, with Mondays and Thursdays edition at 10pm - extended to finish at 11.10pm so C4 can take advantage of new OFCOM rules which allow them to insert an extra ad break into the show. The Friday night eviction shows remain at 9pm and 10.35pm.
E4’s schedules for the week beginning July 4th show that live streaming begins at 12.15am on Saturday night, 12.35am on Sunday, 12.45am on Monday, 11.55pm on Tuesday night, 12.50am on Wednesday, midnight on Thursday and 12.10am on Friday night, following Big Mouth.
N.B. Note tonight’s edition of Big Brother’s Little Brother airs at the later time of 6.30pm due to E4 screening the hour-long final episode of Friends. Again.
Don’t worry though - E4 will be screening Friends right from the very beginning - again - from tomorrow.
