Both The Sun and The Daily Star have claimed today that new housemates are set to enter the Big Brother house.
According to The Sun, one person will be sent in next week in an attempt to give the thirteen current contestants a ‘kick up the backside’ and make the show more entertaining for viewers.
They say that ten hopefuls are on standby, ready to go in at a moments’ notice.
Meanwhile, The Star says that bosses are planning to send in two new housemates - a ’stunning babe’ and a ‘hunky guy’ - to test ‘lovebirds’ Kris and Dogface.
They hope that the new arrivals will prove whether or not their relationship is fake, in accordance with the new rule banning fake romances, by tempting them to cheat on each other.
The new woman is said to be everything that Kris has told the producers that he looks for in a partner, whilst the man will be Dogface’s ‘dream guy’.
An ‘insider’ said: “Sophie and Kris have been all over each other like a rash. It seems like they really like each other.
“But their feelings are going to be tested to the limits when the new arrivals get into the house.
“It will really put the cat among the pigeons and I think we will start to see their true colours.
“Will they be so into each other that they can’t be tempted, or will they drop each other like a hot potato?
“Everyone who’s involved in the show is expecting that there will be some fireworks either way.”
