The housemates were given a shock this morning when Big Brother’s Special Forces burst in to the house for a task.
After forcing everyone into doing an exercise routine, the SAS team then ordered Charlie and Saffia into the garden - where they would have to walk barefoot across two piles of broken glass.
“Remove your footwear,” ordered one of the balaclava-clad men. “Step forward one pace. In front of you lies 150 smashed wine bottles. This is real glass.
“Look forward, don’t look down. This is real glass. It will cut you if you do not pay attention. Do you understand?”
“Yes,” replied Saffia.
More instructions followed: “Put your foot down on the glass. If it feels sharp, move your foot. It is not a race.”
The duo then successfully walked over the glass, to the shock of the others.
Big Brother then informed them that by completing the challenge they had won theirselves housemate status.
However, what they didn’t know was that they were actually walking on sugar glass.
They are the fifth and sixth housemates to earn their status, following Rodrigo and Noirin, and Lisa and Kris.
