We’ve been browsing the preliminary schedules once again, and it appears there could be a live show over the first few days after all…
It’s a risky business, this speculating of schedules. Usually there are clues that something might happen, but sometimes those clues turn out to be red herrings, especially if you decide to stick your neck out and make a prediction.
However, sods law dictates if you air on the side caution and keep your suspicions to yourself, your suspicions turn out to be correct.
So, with that said, we’ve been browsing the preliminary schedules once again and it appears there could well be a live show over the first few days after all, on Sunday 7th June.
At the moment C4’s schedules for Sunday evening are still “TO BE ANNOUNCED”, but the schedules for Monday suggest that two repeat editions from Sunday night will on E4 - the usual 60 minute episode, followed by a 30-minute edition. In addition the early morning repeat slot on C4 also has space for 90 minutes of Big Brother alongside the repeat of Sunday’s edition of BBLB.
So does this suggest an extra live show on Sunday?
Well, we’ll let you decide that then you can only blame yourself if it’s wrong, but it is confirmed that Alan Carr’s new chat show, Alan Carr: Chatty Man, will launch on Sunday 7th June, and it has been a common tactic in recent years for C4 to launch new shows by sandwiching them in between two live episodes of Big Brother.
More scheduling news
The confirmed schedules for the first week in June suggest that the 9pm slot on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be occupied by I’m Running Sainsbury’s and Embarrassing Bodies for the next four weeks, so initially at least we can expect Big Brother to air at 10pm on those nights. C4’s plans for Monday and Thursday nights remain unconfirmed.
Big Brother’s Big Quiz is also scheduled to be repeated again on C4 on Sunday 7th June in a post-11pm slot.
Second chance catch up encore (not repeats, honestly!) screenings
In addition to the usual C4 weekday morning reruns, E4 will air Big Brother repeats during the day, with BBLB at 1pm, followed by the previous nights C4 show. And on most days, followed by Friends.
At the weekends E4 will screen the repeats in an earlier breakfast slot, with T4 showing them later.
Please note all this scheduling information is preliminary and subject to change. The full schedules for the first full week of BB10 will be confirmed later in the week.
