Scheduling speculation
UNCONFIRMED: Something might happen
scheduling-speculation

We’ve been browsing the preliminary schedules once again, and it appears there could be a live show over the first few days after all…

It’s a risky business, this speculating of schedules.  Usually there are clues that something might happen, but sometimes those clues turn out to be red herrings, especially if you decide to stick your neck out and make a prediction.

However, sods law dictates if you air on the side caution and keep your suspicions to yourself, your suspicions turn out to be correct.

So, with that said, we’ve been browsing the preliminary schedules once again and it appears there could well be a live show over the first few days after all, on Sunday 7th June.

At the moment C4’s schedules for Sunday evening are still “TO BE ANNOUNCED”, but the schedules for Monday suggest that two repeat editions from Sunday night will on E4 - the usual 60 minute episode, followed  by a 30-minute edition. In addition the early morning repeat slot on C4 also has space for 90 minutes of Big Brother alongside the repeat of Sunday’s edition of BBLB.

So does this suggest an extra live show on Sunday?

Well, we’ll let you decide that then you can only blame yourself if it’s wrong, but it is confirmed that Alan Carr’s new chat show, Alan Carr: Chatty Man, will launch on Sunday 7th June, and it has been a common tactic in recent years for C4 to launch new shows by sandwiching them in between two live episodes of Big Brother.

More scheduling news

The confirmed schedules for the first week in June suggest that the 9pm slot on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be occupied by I’m Running Sainsbury’s and Embarrassing Bodies for the next four weeks, so initially at least we can expect Big Brother to air at 10pm on those nights. C4’s plans for Monday and Thursday nights remain unconfirmed.

Big Brother’s Big Quiz is also scheduled to be repeated again on C4 on Sunday 7th June in a post-11pm slot.

Second chance catch up encore (not repeats, honestly!) screenings

In addition to the usual C4 weekday morning reruns, E4 will air Big Brother repeats during the day, with BBLB at 1pm, followed by the previous nights C4 show. And on most days, followed by Friends.

At the weekends E4 will screen the repeats in an earlier breakfast slot, with T4 showing them later.

Please note all this scheduling information is preliminary and subject to change. The full schedules for the first full week of BB10 will be confirmed later in the week.

Stick with bbspy.

So they reprint lazy articles, rehashes of the same photos story, completely unfounded rumours and get the 10 Days to Go ad up first (I’ll remind you we’ve got EVERY other advert up first), and they get the praise.

We do a bit of investigative work of our own, and you ask where the news is?

Thankless task this fansite lark.

Shut up Freddy. bbspy have not given up!

They are just a bit slower than other websites at updating news, that’s all.

Piss off if you don’t like this website.

I and many other people don’t mind waiting a few hours longer to receive news on bbspy.

Get lost freddy

If you don’t like this website, you know where to go.

Stop slagging off this website all the time, and appreciate the hard work that goes into here.

[MOD EDIT: Profanity removed]

3. Well done BBSPY keep up the good work and ignore people who dont appreciate it .

George says: May 25, 2009 @ 11:35 am

PISS OFF FREDDY.

You do realise that the latest article on IBB is just a blatant copy of this one on here!

And who gves a shit if there’s an All Stars series or not. I want BB10 news. Not that bollocks.

Brekkie says: May 25, 2009 @ 11:36 am

So why complain it’s not here when you read it elsewhere.

I’m sure most people visiting here check a couple of other fansites too - we don’t ask you to sign exclusive contracts and only use BBSpy.

And it’s not actually a competitive cut-throat industry this fansite lark - indeed most the fansites have a pretty good relationship with each other.

daniel says: May 25, 2009 @ 11:40 am

well said george. freddy if you dont like it then get lost

Brekkie says: May 25, 2009 @ 11:40 am

Anyway, I’m sure Matt will deal with the advert when he’s around.

Freddy’s comments have now been removed as spam - he’s admitted it was all about plugging a rival fansite.

So let’s get back to the topic at hand here - the scheduling.

steff says: May 25, 2009 @ 11:46 am

Why all this bbspy hatred?

Constructive criticism is okay once or twice, but don’t harp on about it on so many of the news bites. This is a BB10 website, not a “Freddy hates some fan sites” website - let’s focus the attention on where it needs to be dude, Big Brother not Freddy.

Lewis [*-*] says: May 25, 2009 @ 11:56 am

Who is “Freddy”, I can’t see him on the comments list…

Matt says: May 25, 2009 @ 11:57 am

So you decide to sleep in on Bank Holiday Monday and this is what happens!

Since Freddy has now admitted why he comments on here, a reason which breaks the rules, his comments will now have to be approved by me before they appear.

Can I just remind people that this site is run by humans who give significant amounts of their free time to run it. We put as much effort in as we can and we do not profit, so we’re naturally very disheartened when people slag it off for the sake of slagging it off.

John says: May 25, 2009 @ 12:20 pm

I thought Freddy was very rude to say what he did, but I think he made a few valid points.

We all appreciate the hard work you put into this website Matt and Brekkie. It’s wonderful and you should be very proud of yourselves.

However, I can understand why Freddy was frustrated. As a fan of BB, I come onto this site to try and get the latest news. If I’m not provided the latest news, then of course I will be slightly disappointed.

Now, I completely agree with your sentiments that you are human. However, all the other websites are run by humans as well and honestly have been updated more in recent days.

If you’re finding it hard work to maintain the website, why not try and get more reporters? I’m sure there would be people willing to help this excellent website out :)

the first 10 DAYS ADVERT has just been on C4+1 after under the skin with lilly allen. But why does it say 9 days to go on big brother website!!:@

daniel says: May 25, 2009 @ 12:31 pm

good point ryan. i was wondering that too

Brekkie says: May 25, 2009 @ 1:11 pm

I expect it’s an oversight, but perhaps they’re counting down to the site launching, and it’ll launch 24 hours before the show?

kelly says: June 2, 2009 @ 3:40 pm

there’s definately a live show on sunday because i have tickets to be in the audience :-)
