Clothes sorter David has finished third in the BB10 final, leaving Siavash and Sophie in the running for the top spot.
After wishing luck to the duo he left the house to another positive reception. After meeting Davina, he shook hands with some crowd members before heading along the catwalk as the cameras flashed.
He had 19% of the public vote at the time of the reading for third place.
Talking to Davina in front of the crowd, he said: “I am surprised that I came third because I came in halfway, so I didn’t think I had a chance. When I found out that I was gonna be in the final, it hit me hard. I’m so happy.”
Asked if any housemates were different from how he percieved them before entering, he said: “I did watch people, I did have my favourites, but I went in with an open book.
“You can’t have favourites and go in and stick with them because you’re not necessarily gonna get on with them.”
His friend Lisa and her eviction then came up. “Lisa’s a very strong woman. She’s the strongest woman I’ve ever met.
“When I had my birthday party and she wasn’t there, I was devastated. Lisa has been my rock in the house and she’s gonna be my rock all the way through my life. If somebody’s my friend it’s either all or nothing.”
He also discussed an invitation from his idol Vivienne Westwood to get in touch. “I just can’t believe it. She’s the queen of fashion, she makes me feel brilliant, and I’m just gonna give her the biggest kiss.”
During the chat, he heard a clip of Robbie Williams saying he voted for him to win on BBC Radio 1.
