This week’s nominees confirmed

Five housemates face the boot

Charlie, Dogface, Halfwit, Kris and Marcus will face eviction from the Big Brother house on Friday, it has been confirmed.

Halfwit and Marcus were nominated via the regular process, having recieved 7 and 5 votes from their fellow housemates respectively. This is the fifth time in a row that Halfwit has faced the public vote, setting a new record.

Meanwhile, Charlie, Dogface and Kris are up after failing their challenges to remain silent that they were set as punishment for talking about nominations.

It’s up to you to decide which of the five goes - here are the voting numbers:

To evict CHARLIE Call 09016 16 16 04

To evict HALFWIT Call 09016 16 16 05

To evict KRIS Call 09016 16 16 07

To evict MARCUS Call 09016 16 16 09

To evict DOGFACE Call 09016 16 16 15

Kris is currently favourite to go with bookies PaddyPower, at 1/12, while Marcus is second at 9/1. Halfwit is least favourite to go, at 50/1.

The eviction takes place on Friday at 9.00pm and 10.30pm - join us then for live updates.

This is so much better than last year, when tactical voting meant that my favourites went out early. e.g Rebecca, Luke…

Im slightly glad that Big Brother has ‘fixed’ this one so it isnt just Marcus and Freddie.

i want marcus out, im sick of the perv going into the diary room and grazing his messed up beard thing he has, its disguisting. I like Kris. i think its good that he shows his hate towards Halfwit unlike the rest who just hate on him in diary room. Just Get marcus out, im sick of seeing him following noirein and then when she tells him to get lost, he gets all mad on her. he is making boring television, atleast when kris argues wid halfwit, it makes teh show funny, just as it is charlie and rodrigo its hillarious

yes i do, cos freddie/halfwit is obviously wrong, he is way too enthusiastic about everything, it gets to do my head in. but i dont agree with bullying, i just stated that atleast he shows it upfront. Kris is quite frankly a nob. i agree on that. but id rather watch him be boring than have marcus grazing his face its disguisting.

A BB spokesman said the mix-up - which was only on the show’s website - had lasted for one hour and there were not a high number of calls during that time.

Refunds would be issued if customers contacted Channel 4 and all incorrect votes brought to their attention would be subtracted from Friday’s eviction night total.

It shows how low voting has fallen when it can be dealt with over the phone.

Common sense though - you ring up and give them your number and they can easily check if you voted or not - though surely makes more sense to reassign your vote to Kris rather than refund you.

Kris Looking More Likely To Survive

Kris was initially the hot favourite to be evicted and he still is in some respects but as the week has gone on the bookies have lengthened his odds as they have suspected they might have got things wrong. Kris is now 1/8 with SkyBet and Stan James to be the one who is evicted tonight.

Marcus Could Be The One Who Goes

Marcus had looked safe but there has been a gamble on him to go in the past few days and he is now as short as 7/2 with SkyBet to go although Bet365 offer 13/2. The other three housemates certainly look safe, Freddie is 80/1 with Bet365, Sophie is 80/1 with Sportingbet and Charlie is 100/1 with Ladbrokes.

I’ve not watched since the live noms, but I might just have to tune in tonight to see Kris’s face when he gets the boot.

Just a shame they’ll leave it till 10.30pm, meaning he doesn’t have that awkward half-hour in the house knowing he’s not that popular!
