Tom has walked out of the Big Brother house after just over seven days, becoming the second person to do so this week.
He cited boredom as the reason for his departure and explained that he thought some of the other housemates were in the house for the ‘wrong reasons’ following a discussion about life after BB.
Talking to Rodrigo in the kitchen last night, he said: “I can’t sit around a house like this for six weeks. I don’t want to. It’s not challenging. I find it boring.
“Everyone thinks they’re gonna be famous. They have an ulterior motive. No one’s here for the right reasons.”
Later, as he was waiting to leave the house, he had a discussion with Dogface about her relationship with Kris.
He said: “I really like you, I think you’re a really sweet girl. You can do a lot better I think you’d be better off being on your own as opposed to with Kris.”
Big Brother then called him to the Diary Room for the final time. He said his goodbyes to the others and declared he wanted Rodrigo to win before heading out of the house. He left at around 2.26am.
Tom’s exit follows Kenneth’s escape on Thursday morning. It is unclear if this will affect this week’s eviction, or if he will be replaced.
He will be interviewed by George Lamb on Big Brother’s Little Brother today at 1.20pm on Channel 4.
