Tomorrow’s eviction cancelled

It has been confirmed that tomorrow’s eviction will not go ahead due to Kenneth’s departure from the Big Brother house.

Earlier this morning, Kenneth decided to leave the house and, with help from Marcus, escaped via the roof. As a result, voting lines have closed and no-one will be voted out this week.

However, tomorrow’s live shows will proceed as planned. Kenneth will talk to Davina McCall and reveal his reasons for leaving during the second show at 10.35pm on Channel 4.

It is currently unclear if any other twists will take place.

Anyone who voted for this week’s eviction before lines closed can claim a refund. Details on this are available here.

At least Marcus is going to stay at least another week, I honestly don’t know why so many people hate him, while there are more vile people in that house that we need to be rid of before him.

Every single decision seems to be the wrong one this year. They obviously don’t want rid of Marcus yet.

The precedent is that the eviction always goes ahead if a nominee quits, unless there are just two nominees.

They’re costing themselves much more in cancelling the whole thing and having to refund all the votes, whilst if they went ahead with it and just refunded Kenneth votes (even though voters have got what they want!), it would be much less of an issue.

I bet they use the live show to put a “replacement” in (as that’s all they know how to do!) even though with no eviction, a replacement isn’t required.

They might keep the live show and Davina will just present the highlights. I think they have done that before I am not sure. It would be quite pointless though. I wonder if the fans will get a ticket refund for their audience tickets.

I agree with Stu. Marcus makes a great HM. It’s that evil old hag, Lisa, who needs to go.
Ken went because he knew he was unpopular, with the public and likely to be evicted, because Karly sent him a secret message when she asked for her pills.

Worth noting too that Davina just assumed the eviction would go ahead this week too, as indeed it should have done. For what it’s worth I always had a suspicion that with 11 up there could have been a surprise outcome and Kenneth might have stayed.

So every time they invite you to vote they advise of the terms and conditions being on the website - which state:

6. Channel 4 may suspend, withdraw, cancel or re-set the Vote for any reason at its sole discretion and at any time.

7. Under no circumstances will there be a refund for any vote cast or for any misdialled calls.

Yet still they cave in. No reason at all for them to cancel this vote, and no reason at all to issue refunds.
