The housemates have failed this week’s Tudor-themed shopping task and will now be forced to live on a basic shopping budget.
For the task, Siavash became King Henry VIII and chose Angel, Dogface, Halfwit, Karly, Rodrigo and Sree to be his wives. Charlie and Kris became courtiers, and Lisa and Noirin became cooks, while Marcus was the village idiot.
Siavash was quizzed on Henry VIII, during which Marcus got pelted in the stocks every time he answered incorrectly. He got more than the allowed three questions wrong, resulting in him failing his part of the task.
The other housemates had to contribute to yesterday’s Tudor feast.
The wives practised a madrigal, “Now Is The Month Of Maying” by Thomas Morely, while the courtiers learned the Volta, a Tudor dance, before they all performed during the banquet. Cooks Lisa and Noirin had to prepare all the food.
However, all three groups did not complete their individual tasks successfully.
This resulted in them failing the overall task, leaving them with a budget of £1 per head per day for the next week.
“We are winners – we got drink and alcohol,” declared Noirin after Big Brother delivered the news.
Marcus was pleased with their efforts. He said: “We didn’t give up. We knew we had failed because of how difficult it was, but we were the best seconds that anyone’s ever ******* seen!”
