Freddie has become the tenth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house, losing out to Marcus in the public vote.
He recieved 53.61% of the vote in what was the closest two-way battle of the series so far. He left the house to a chorus of cheers from the crowd, and shouted ‘hello, nice to meet you!’ at them before meeting Davina.
In his eviction interview, he said: “I think I went astray. I got dragged out of myself a bit and spent a lot of time trying to help other people.”
Talking about his relationship with Bea, he said: “She was blaming me for the negativity she was feeling. It built up over time and I gradually got more and more stressed about it.”
He also discussed his attraction to her when she first entered, saying: “In that situation you just go with the emotion. I was allowing myself to go to that place. When you’re in the house you know it’s not real but you enjoy the emotion.”
When asked if Big Brother had changed him, he replied: “We’ll find out. I’ve grown as a person a lot.”
He added that his favourite housemates are Marcus, Siavash and Rodrigo.
Freddie, a former favourite to win, survived a total of seven evictions while in the house, a new record. His eviction was the first to take place after Big Brother relaxed the rules banning discussion of nominations.
