Virgin have joined Sky, ITV and Five in rejecting Big Brother, all but killing off any chance of the show continuing after next year

The Big Brother 10 housemates will be reunited in a special edition of Big Mouth with Davina McCall a week after the finale.

The Sun has claimed that Channel 4 is set to axe Big Brother due to the lower ratings that this year’s series has recieved.

Sharon Powers, executive producer of Big Brother 10, has said that broadcaster Channel 4 are ‘happy’ with the show.

Endemol UK chief executive Tim Hincks has expressed confidence in the future of Big Brother, saying that its long-term health is ’strong’.

Channel 4 have extended the length of Friday’s second live show as part of Big Brother’s week of birthday celebrations.

Channel 4 received 1837 complaints in June about Big Brother, along with 48 ‘appreciative comments’.
