But I come here for bb NEWs, something you’ve been lacking and far behind other bb sites like tellymix.

For fear or making myself unpopular, I actually enjoyed tonight’s episode of BB more than I have any other episode in the last 3 or 4 years. I found myself realising that I was genuinely being entertained by the stories that were being told, and the way the producers showed us the housemate’s reactions.
But I know that this is an unpopular view to express…

I actually realy enjoyed the HL show tonight but annoyed they didnt show Charlie and the condom with BB telling himoff, or the talent show or the speed dating… and im very pissed off at now LF.

But i just want everyone to watch the HLs, the thing you should boycott is the BB website if you want Lf back.

im getting bored off BBspy whining about LF, make the most of what we got for christs sake!

I think Salv that the events you mentioned only happened toady, so they will be shown on tomorrow’s HL show.
I know what you’re getting at Brekkie, your statement about not being able to trust what you see if very intelligent and informed. But Big Brother is the omnipient character who can control everything, that means the housemates and now, sadly, the viewer as well.

To be fair to Brekkie guys this is a major issue BB v fans wise. Probably bigger than the whole putting a house mate back in debacle that happened in BB7. I for one am grateful that someone is gving us fans who sorely miss the live feed a voice. I can see why it must be annoying though, I’m getting sick of banging on about it so much myself LOL but would really appreciate your understanding about this

I think it does work. I’d seen teasers of what happens and wanted to see how it pans out, so I was a little bit of a saddo and stayed in tonight … I wasn’t disappointed!!

If they shown more reactions then we wouldn’t have seen things such as the bitching at the end, and if that surfaced at a later point we’d be having the same argument … why didn’t they focus more time on that?

I don’t think the editing is biased as such, but if you’re going to try and get 24 hours into 46 minutes then of course it is going to look biased.

Those thinking the live feed is 100% truth are imo deluded and must remove their rose tinted glasses asap. Some of you don’t realise how edited live feed is- they can cut away at any point, sound dips, cover over with adverts etc.

That said, live feed should return, or at least an ‘unseen’ highlights show on E4 each day where basically it is just another half an hour-hour of highlights.

Plus us Freeview viewers have coped for 3 years without a live feed and just relied on the internet/teaser clips. This year its all of us that have to do that, and from a Freeview viewers perspective, this year is imo no different to any other.

I simply cannot belive some of you I really cant.

Actually Brekkie I disagree. We were told all day what had happened, until 7pm. During BBLB there was a lot of ‘breaking news’. Then come 7pm and there are other things to do … 9pm the highlights, a little down patch for an hour but oh well we’ll get over it, call it BB relief, and then live feed later on at night. Again, from a Freeview viewers perspective I have experienced no change in the amount of info I have received this weekend.

I’m sorry I keep doing this (double posting, I always have something to add once I’ve submitted!!) but can I just say I think its very disrespectful when people launch an attack on Brekkie for what he writes, whether direct or indirect. Its clear from the title, description and opening two lines exactly what this article is about. If you don’t like it then why read on? IMO Brekkie provides some really good views and talking points; if we all agreed what a boring old world we’d live in!! Thats what debate is for.

Moaning before= ok it was repetitive and all theory
Moaning after= we’ve experienced it now. Lets reflect on what we thought and what we now think so imo its not still ‘whinging about it’.

Rodrigo is often in the background, but he certainly hasn’t featured very much since. I think being placed above the rest of the group so quickly scared him that he may be alienated from the group and so he is trying not to offend anyone.

If you watched the live feed that you seem to argue for then you would have seen what Lisa added to the house. She was a cause of some conflict/divides imo.

And that was 1 series, every series from BB5+ has been the same in terms of sound cuts

Oh yes at one point 12 hours out of date and crummy little 1 minute clips where up to half of it is an advert LOL . This was the clips and website CH4 told us would be updated very regularly as people oh so prefer to live feed online and later 24/7 so we have put effort there ! PMSL

Sun website just more of the same feed directly from BB CH4 and out of date.

Dips and Cut aways in the afternoon stream ? Yes but still got alot more of any idea of what happened before and after stuff show on H/L and at least a little confidence the whole show wasnt scripted. Now 18 hours to have production meetings and reshoot etc as required LOL

Total nonsense Sound cuts & cutaways have been same since BB5 its go worse and worse every year as part of a long term plan which this year has come to pass :-))))

Exactly the core of problem. They are starving the fan sites of news and for that matter alot of the Media. So not the usual online buzz that helps to create interest in the casual BB viewer/fan. Look how flat things ?

Its a crisis if you like the show and like to watch it in any way. Might only be the Live feed as you term it. For BB11 ( if it happens now ) You could quite easily find its 2 Highlight shows a week and a few spin off program and that all “due to cost” .

I just think that if you have a bad attitude towards BB10 just because there is no live feed, then it will make the series unenjoyable for you.

The highlights show is a sum up of the best parts of a day.

So instead of complaing about when live feed should be on, go out and enjoy yourself then watch the Highlight show at night. And if that is not satifying enough for you, then Big Brother live feed is available at night.

I agree that live feed was good to put on when i was bored or had nothing else to do and in some way will miss it.
But i am not letting it ruin the whole series for me, nor will i complain as it will just iritate and probably reinforce the idea of Big Brother being axed, which is something i really do not want.

Although i must admit, I do not think Big Brother is “dead” just because of the lack of live feed and poor ratings.
As fans we should support the show and enjoy it, without complaining and giving haters more reason to complain.

i like the way sites moan about things - if they didnt it would just be plain boring and full of news and we are allowed to express our own feelings towards something like Live Feed and maybe help people to understand why they did it ect - so if you are sick of it why click it in the first place eh?
I dont think C4 will return LF to us, once they axe something dont think it’ll come back - how do you know they even listen/read complaints anyway?

i have to be honest, i am loving the series without live feed. Now i am excited to know whats happening and whats going to happen next without having it diluted with having watched it throughout the day. brilliant!

its strange how this is polorising views. I think the opposite to anne….and last night was thinking how i really like the housemates and how much better they are than last year, and that the winner is not as clear cut as it usually is as there are lots of strong personalities

It not polarising views IMHO. Just flushing out the CH4 Stoogies in alot of cases that do float arround the fan sites from time to time and are having to do some work trying to unsucessfully convince people how great it all is and how no 24/7 feed is oh so much better LOL.

As far as them not listening to viewer complaiints over the feed no they dont. They act with utter contempt towards people with generic replies which show they dont listen atall. Thats why there is so much annoyance . Not helping things is they misled people for months over 24/7 feed issue saying no decision when we now know it was cancelled before CBB this year for this series ! Then to add insult to injury cut even the few hours afternoon ive feed on E4 and have many nights where overnight streaming starts as late as after 1am !

The pattern is cut cut cut every series now. If everyone just accepts this years situation and says how great it is I can see BB11 (if it even happens now ) having 2 highlight shows a week plus endless repeats of them and no live streaming atall if they think they can still get a certain level of advertising revenue. In that case they would fill in between H/L with their Ad filled 1 minute clips on their Youtube channel.

I agree on the no live feed situation, and have sent this feedback in, for the good it will do. made me feel better anyhow

As a long time follower of this show, I am very dissapointed at the lack of live feed again, especially after all the drama and bad feeling last year over the same topic.

Once again it just seems like C4 is happy to let this show suffer without the support that it initially had, simply because their contract runs out soon and they just no longer care. The money has been made now right? Now screw the customers who helped you make it right?

While this may suit C4, it is a massive smack in mouth to their up to now loyal viewers who have enjoyed the live feed and form the heart of the BB community, as they have done for years, helping generate you revenue.

To simply disregard us now, just because C4 has made up it’s mind that BB no longer suits it’s programming philosophy (and it is no longer the massive cash cow it once was) is actually despicable. All that money the hardcore fanbase have helped your channel earn over the last decade show should be rewarded with some little loyalty for the last couple of years of the show at least.

If nothing else, in these days of viral opinion forming and word of mouth reputations by active internet users, it’s actually just good business.

Please just ask yourselves, if you are so intent on casting us off at this point, how soon will it be before we trust you ever again to actively support one of your shows, knowing that as soon as you have made your money you will just cut us off. Please think again and reinstate live feed asap.

Ive never watched the live feed, the highlights and live shows have always been enough to satisfy me. As much as i love the show, i don’t have to have it on every second of the day. Infact i am getting more than usual coz this is the first Big Brother I have looked for stuff on line!

I am sure when the series gets under way everyone will be fine.
