So tonight was our first real chance to see how the main show works without the live feed - and it simply doesn’t.

We got the main tasks yes, but less than 30 seconds of reaction.

We got the impression there was a bit of resentment between the HMs and non-HMs, but we have no idea whether that’s just a couple of occassions during the day or whether the resentment really is there all day.

We saw the HMs and non-HMs pretty much keep themselves separated throughout the show, but have no idea whether this is an accurate reflection of how they interacted throughout the day.

And we were given the impression Saffia is a bitch, as is Sophia - but again, we’ve no idea of the context of their outbursts and whether it was them simply getting something off their chests, or whether they moaned about each other all day.

In previous series the editing could always be backed up with the knowledge it was being watched 24/7, and hence the producers couldn’t get away with anything dodgy.

Tonight, I just didn’t trust what I was seeing.
