Born-again Christian Stephen is the fourth housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother and the first to leave tonight.
After Davina announced the news, he jumped up and told his fellow housemates he’d see them next week. He posted on the bridge while leaving the house as the crowd booed him.
The actor recieved 50% of the public vote.
In his live interview with Davina, he said: “As a Christian, you all got me in the Hell house. Let’s just say I did the best I could to be a representation of the king of kings and God almighty father in Heaven.
“It was my intention to go in and have fun. We’re having fun talking about the hell house.
“Let’s say what I believe is true and there really is a Heaven and a Hell. Unfortunately, a lot of people are convinced there is no Hell. I’m not going to back down from my faith and what I believe.
“My most powerful experience is my Christian walk. I want people to know the truth. I’m not forcing it on them.”
Discussing his Big Brother experience, he said: “What people don’t realise is, the horrible people who make this show, they really try to break you down psychologically. I’m pretty tough, I’ve done other reality shows.”
Talk turned to the other celebrities, and Nicola: “She’s not evil. But don’t cross her, because you’ll see a side of her you haven’t seen before.”
Davina also asked him if he thought Vinnie’s ‘position’ is under threat. Stephen replied: “I believe that in his own very clever, conniving way Dane has threatened it.
“If you can cook a good meal and can run the kitchen, that gives you great power.”
