The Tree of Temptation has given Nicola the chance to win a message from home by playing a game it calls ‘Tell and Kiss’.
This morning, while she was sitting alone in the snug, Nicola was asked by the Tree if she wanted a message from home, to which she responded with an enthusiastic ‘oh yeah!’.
She was then told she could have it – if she played the Tree’s game.
“It’s called ‘Kiss and Tell’, or actually, ‘Tell and Kiss’ would be a better name,” said the Tree.
Her task is to take each of the ‘other lot’ aside today and tell them some ‘home truths’, before kissing them.
“Just a peck, no tongues. I know what you Page 3 girls are like!” the Tree teased. “You should tell them something they don’t want to hear about themselves.”
Nicola gasped at this revelation.
The Tree continued: “For example, I might say you’re well fit, but you look a bit like Bruce Forsyth, then I’d give you a kiss. Yuk! You’ve gotta be subtle about it.
“If you succeed, I’ll get you a message from home. However, if you betray me, you’ll face the wrath of the Tree of Temptation.”
“Hold on, what did you say, if I what?” asked Nicola.
“If you betray me. Are you deaf or something?” retorted the Tree.
“It’s gonna be really hard to kiss Vinnie. Has it gotta be on the cheek?” Nicola replied. The Tree then said he wanted it on the cheek or the lips.
